Swarming is the process by which a new honey bee colony is formed when the queen bee leaves the colony with a large group of worker bees. In the prime swarm, about 60% of the worker bees leave the original hive location with the old queen.

Below you will find a list of club members who are willing to collect swarms to create new hives and continue to grow the honey bee population. If you find a swarm on your property feel free to call the closest person to your location on the list.
